PFR-582Ex: Redundant
Container System |
 |
|
Klinge's
Picture Frame Model PFR-582Ex
comes with two independent and
redundant refrigeration
systems. The
System provides complete protection for DGs yet with its compact
design, offers a large cargo area within a 20' ISO container.
|
|
|
|
The PFR-582Ex complies with IMDG
regulations for the transport of Classes 4.1 through 5.2. IMDG
Regulations require that Dangerous Goods Classes 4.1 and 5.2 must be
transported in "Dual mechanical refrigeration systems, provided
that: |
»
apart from the integral power supply unit, the two systems are
independent of one another;
»
each system alone is capable of maintaining adequate temperature
control;
»
for substances with a flashpoint lower than the sum of the emergency
temperature plus 5°C,
explosion-proof electrical fittings are used within the coolant
compartment to prevent ignition of flammable vapours from the
substances. |

RED-IFR: Redundant Independent Refrigerated Container System
with Generator Set |
 |
|
Klinge's RED-IFR, Nose Mount Model NMR-262, is the ideal solution for hazardous and high-value
cargo that requires extra protection. The NMR-262 includes two
complete and separate refrigeration systems (each with their own
thermostat and control circuits), back-up generator set capable of
powering the refrigeration unit in case of loss of external power
supply or during transport on a truck, and total redundancy since
each system has enough capacity to ensure the required cooling.

TCR-104 and 104 Ex: Tank or Refrigerated
Container Transport |
 |
Klinge's TCR-104
attaches directly to the end of the container frame and is located
entirely within the ISO frame. Additional features of the
TCR-109 include back-up generator set for independent operation,
operational in ambient temperatures from -40°C to +50°C, and
options for externally explosion proof model and automatic
changeover system to ensure the genset will turn on as as soon as
power is lost.
