Klinge
Corporation has developed this unique cooling method which
as proven highly successful in chilling packed and unpacked
meats. This method is not only quicker than standard
techniques, it is more effective and more flexible than
conventional procedures.
During the process, large quantities of air are carefully
circulated around the products. At the same time, the
appropriate cold temperature is maintained. Uniform product
chilling temperature is thus assured. This system can reduce
chilling time be a considerable amount. For example, 10 tons
of meat can be cooled down from +10°C
(+50°F) to +4°C
(+39.2°F) in only 4-6 hours.
The Klinge Super Chill Unit Can be built into trailers, 20'
or 40' mobile insulated containers, or into existing rooms.
The Super Chill Unit is controlled by a microprocessor which
is connected to an electronic monitoring system. This will
automatically stop cooling when a predetermined temperature
is reached.
The
control box affords easy access to the microprocessor
controller and the display panel with its three function
keys. All control and warning light signals are fully
visible.
All electric and
electronic parts are easily reached inside the waterproof
box. The microprocessor ensures that the temperature is
maintained within the desired limits.
Two large fans
provide sufficient air circulation. An adjustable
ventilation ceiling partition can be moved to make sure
there is optimal air circulation for cargo of any volume.

Cooling Process:
The cargo is chilled using cold air in an insulated
container or a room intended for that purpose. The cargo is
loaded onto pallets, correctly placed to achieve the most
effective air circulation.
The ventilation ceiling can be raised or lowered after
the cargo is loaded in order to control and regulate air
circulation. This means that the super chilling process can
be custom regulated to suit the volume of each particular
cargo.
The chilling process is controlled by a microprocessor
controller which is connected to the electrical alarm
system. This system automatically stops cooling when the
preset core temperature is reached. At this point, the
Klinge K20 unit will automatically shift to the
refrigeration phase, maintaining the correct cargo
temperature.
Since the products cannot be distributed for processing
until they have been through the cooling phase, using the
Klinge process will give the customer the following
advantages:
4Reduced
cooling time
4Storage
