General Information:
The NMR-262 container refrigeration unit was specifically designed for use on 20' and 40' containers for transport of dangerous or extremely valuable cargo. A microprocessor controller provides reliable temperature control with an accuracy of +-0.3°C (+-0.5°F) in extreme environments. The unit has two complete and separate refrigeration systems, each with its own thermostat and control circuits. The NMR-262 offers total redundancy, since each system has enough capacity to ensure the cooling necessary for a particular cargo. The components in the evaporator section are explosion protected in accordance with the EX G3 norm (UL Class 1 Group D). The unit complies with the standards and regulations of the major classification societies.

Construction:
» Welded aluminum frame with aluminum sheet metal closures for strength, corrosion resistance and weight control
» Stainless steel hardware throughout to minimize corrosion

» Two Copeland 3DO750-TFD semi-hermetic

Refrigerants:
» R-404A

» -40°F (-40°C) to +125°F (+52°C)

» Copper tubes, aluminum fins - both corrosion treated

Fans:
» Evaporator: 2 propeller, 16' diameter, 0.25 HP, 1740 rpm
» Condenser: 1 propeller, 20.75' diameter, 2.5 HP, dual winding motor, 1740 rpm

» Separate alarm circuit
