	Refrigeration Units Klinge’s customized designs offer commercial and military customers robust alternatives to standard, mass-produced refrigeration units which often cannot meet the requirements of harsh environments or stringent testing. As an innovator and leader in the transport refrigeration industry, Klinge was the first transport refrigeration firm to introduce electronic and microprocessor controllers. Klinge was also the first to produce transport refrigeration equipment that enables our customers to use popular, new alternative refrigerants, such as R-134a, and R-404a.

	Generator Sets Klinge offers a wide range of generator sets, all of which are all capable of standing up to environmental challenges of the transport refrigeration industry. Klinge's generator sets are heavy duty, yet lightweight. The generators can withstand continued use when exposed, not only to the rigors inherent in transport by sea, rail and land, but also to the demands of use in ultra high ambient temperatures found in deserts.

	Military Klinge provides a number of rugged and reliable products for Military Applications. 	Refurbished Generator Sets Klinge offers refurbishment of generator sets, as well as upgrades or modification of such equipment to meet environmental requirements. Gensets can be delivered in 3 categories: Fully refurbished with new coat of paint, Fully refurbished with original coat of paint and touch-up, As-Is in running condition but no cosmetic work done.

	Rental Equipment Klinge offers a variety of rental transport refrigeration units and generator sets to meet your changing needs. Klinge offers weekly, monthly, and long term leases.

	Dangerous Goods (DG) Transport In the shipping industry, the 2010 amended International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code has put in place strict rules for the handling of hazardous goods. Klinge offers a number of redundant (primary and backup reefer units) refrigeration systems that comply with IMDG regulations for the transport of Classes 4.1 as well as storage of Classes 4.1 and 5.2. Klinge also provides explosion proof systems for operation in Zones 1 or 2 concern.

	Tank Container Refrigeration All Tank Container Refrigeration (TCR) units are designed to be fitted to ISO containers and like sized tanks. They both heat and cool the tank’s cargo by circulating brine or synthetic oil around external cooling coils on the tank. Depending on the tank details and the options selected, the units have the stated cooling capacity at 0°C. All units have the option of heating between 5 to 20 kW.

	Tank Container Heating The heaters may be installed on new or existing ISO tanks. The heaters provide electrical heating by pumping a liquid through existing steam coils or wrap around channels welded on the outside of the tanks. Generally the heat transfer medium is glycol, but synthetic oil is used for higher temperatures.

	Containerized Systems Klinge manufactures various kinds of Self-Powered Refrigerated ISO Container. The containerized systems are comprised of a refrigeration unit and generator set mounted to an insulated ISO container. The generator set powers the refrigeration unit when shore power is not available or in emergency situations.

	Food Storage Bins Klinge's collapsible Food Storage Bins (FSBs) provide a rugged and reliable transport and storage system for perishable items. The FSBs are made of polypropylene and are extremely durable. They have passed a multitude of MIL-STD tests including Salt/Corrosion, Water Pressure, Transit Drop, Thermal Shock, and Stacking/Leakage. With a footprint of 4ft (1.2m) by 3.3ft (1m) and an internal volume of 770 liters (203 g), six of the FSBs fit inside a 10ft insulated container and eighteen fit inside a 20ft insulated container. The FSB collapses to a height of 12in (309mm), allowing nearly three of the collapsed FSBs on a return trip to be transported in the space of one.

	Dataloggers/Recorders Klinge offers microcontroller based temperature measuring and logging devices. The probes are very accurate thermistor type. The data is stored in nonvolatile memory that is over-written by new data once it has been filled. The TTL is intended to be mounted on the outside of a truck/trailer and is used to measure temperatures/humidity at different locations within the truck/trailer. The PTL is intended to be used in warehouses or processing plants and is used to measure temperatures/humidity at different locations.

	Satellite Communication Klinge offers satellite communication kits for our Refrigeration unit NMR-262 and for our Generator Set NMG-115. The kit consists of the following: a transponder and buffer board with pre-attached cables to the generator engine and the left and right hand refrigeration machine control box; new ambient probe and the fuel transponder; antenna with its own cable; fuel transponder; and the hardware, drawings, and auxiliary items needed to attach the parts.
